Acceptable use
Acceptable use policy
What you may and may not send through this platform. Short version: calls people agreed to receive, from numbers you are entitled to use, at hours they are allowed to be called.

Why this policy exists
Every call placed through this platform is signed with our carrier attestation and carried over our carrier relationships. Abusive traffic does not just harm the people receiving it; it degrades the reputation of the numbers, the attestation level of every other customer's calls, and our standing with carriers and regulators.
So this policy is enforced, not decorative. It forms part of the terms of service.
Calling: what is prohibited
- Calling anyone who has not given the consent the law requires for that type of call, including automated or prerecorded calls placed without prior express written consent where the TCPA requires it.
- Calling numbers on the national do-not-call registry, on a state registry, or on your own internal suppression list, outside the exemptions that apply to you.
- Calling outside permitted hours in the recipient's local time zone.
- Ignoring an opt-out, a revocation of consent, or a request to stop calling.
- Abandoning calls above the rate the Telemarketing Sales Rule permits, or running a predictive dialer without the required abandonment controls and disclosure.
- Ringless voicemail campaigns to recipients who have not consented to receive them.
- Calls that impersonate a government agency, a bank, a carrier, a delivery service, or any organisation you are not.
Caller ID and number use: what is prohibited
- Presenting a caller ID you are not entitled to use. You may present numbers you own, numbers rented through us, and numbers you can prove you control.
- Spoofing caller ID with intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value, which is a criminal offence under the Truth in Caller ID Act.
- Rotating numbers to evade carrier analytics, spam labelling, or a block. If your numbers are being labelled, fix the calling pattern, not the number.
- Snowshoeing: spreading the same campaign thinly across many numbers to stay under detection thresholds.
- Using numbers to originate traffic pumping, wangiri, or any revenue-share fraud scheme.
Messaging: what is prohibited
- Sending A2P messages from unregistered campaigns, or misrepresenting the campaign use case at 10DLC registration.
- Sending messages without opt-in, or continuing after an opt-out keyword.
- Omitting sender identification, or omitting opt-out instructions where they are required.
- Content in the categories carriers prohibit outright, including illegal substances, illegal firearms sales, hate speech, sexually explicit content, and high-risk financial offers such as payday loans and debt-relief schemes, unless you hold the specific carrier approvals for them.
- Using URL shorteners that mask the destination, which carriers treat as a phishing signal.
Content and conduct
- No unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening or discriminatory content.
- No infringement of anyone else's intellectual property.
- No collection of personal data through deception, and no use of the platform to test or validate stolen contact lists.
- No use of AI voice agents to claim to be a human when a person directly asks whether they are speaking to a machine.
Technical abuse
- No attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, wallet controls or suspension.
- No probing, scanning or penetration testing of our systems without written authorisation.
- No reselling or sublicensing platform access unless your agreement expressly permits it.
- No use of the platform to relay traffic for an undisclosed third party whose identity we cannot verify.
How we enforce it
We monitor for the signals that indicate abusive traffic: complaint rates, very short average call duration, high dial-to-connect ratios across many numbers, carrier notifications, and regulator contact.
Where we find a breach we will usually contact you first and give you the chance to fix it. Where the breach is serious, ongoing, or puts our carrier standing at risk, we will suspend the affected numbers or the account immediately and tell you why.
Reporting abuse
If you have received a call or message from a number on this platform that breaches this policy, tell us through the contact page with the number, the date and time, and what was said. We investigate every report, and we act on the ones we can substantiate.
Questions about any of this?
Policy questions go to a person, not a ticket queue. Ask before you sign anything, and we will answer in writing.
